Mosaic Artist/ Craft Production
The Orb Factory is a leading designer of arts and crafts for the toy industry. We are currently searching for a skilled craftsperson to assist in the following:
-creating mosaics using adhesive acrylic jewels on flat and 3D surfaces;
-assisting our design team assembling craft play concepts for children ages 4 and up using traditional media;
Must have an interest in:
-children and their social and educational development;
-craft and design;
-girl's fashion trends;
-mosaic art;
-working with a team.
Experience with the following an asset:
-creating mosaic patterns
-painting
-polymer clay
-jewelry
-collage
-knitting
-macrame
-Tie Dye
-beadwork
-leatherwork
-scrapbooking
-origami
The successful candidate will also display:
-imagination and creativity
-drive, determination and self-motivation
-common sense in ability to recognize when a design is not viable
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, Day
Salary: $11.00 Hourly for 40 hours per week
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

Junior Graphic Designer
We are seeking a Junior Graphic Designer with an interest in the toy industry, and an active creative mind to join our design team. We supply a creative and engaging work environment where learning, facing challenges, and team work is key. You will be expected to contribute to the team by thinking outside the box and paying attention to current toy trends.
Job Description:
• Do knock-outs for images in Photoshop
• Supply graphics requests
• Help maintain our website
• Prepare pre-press artwork
• Co-ordinate language translation requests
• Create and edit dielines
• Help in photo shoots
• Clean up final artwork that comes in from outside freelancers
• Track and balance material usage in product development
• Create and edit packaging
Qualifications:
• Fluent in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Freehand, Excel
• Fluent in Mac OSX
• Knowledge of HTML and CSS an asset
• A post-secondary degree or diploma in graphic design
• 1-2 years experience considered an asset

Junior Licensing Graphic Designer
We are seeking a Junior Licensing Graphic Designer with an active imagination and a passion for the toy industry to join our graphics licensing team. Not your average graphic design job; we supply a creative and engaging work environment where learning and team work is key. Our team works with a growing number of Licensors including Universal, Peanuts, and Disney.

Senior Graphic Designer
The Work
We create innovative craft kits for children ages 2 to 12 that are sold in over 40 countries. We're looking for talented designers/ crafters who are striving to be unique in how they create. People who are smart, imaginative and are wildly excited about what they do. Focus on honing great ideas for products that inspire kids and help them to discover their own creativity. In the process of doing this, we create both digitally, and manually using a wide range of materials.
The Environment
Working at The Orb Factory is entirely different from every other job, so don't expect a boring 9-5 day. Experience creative challenges in our relaxed and focused collaborative environment. We are working on the latest computer hardware, and do not hesitate to buy whatever creative tools that we need. You could call it work, or you could call it a creative adventure. We call it a lot of fun!
